This is a blog mostly about my trip to St Petersburg to attend a Russian language course. Learning Russian was a hobby of mine in the 80’s. I learned quite a lot of grammar, some vocabulary, but hardly any fluency in speaking.

I will be very happy if at the end of the course I can go into shops and ask for any buy things in Russian, without reverting to English.
