I’m having lunch before my first Russian lesson this afternoon.
I went shopping this morning at a small supermarket near where we are having the lessons.
We are on the outskirts of St Petersburg, but this little supermarket is excellent. I would say the fresh fruit in an Australian supermarket is usually better, but here there is a good variety of groceries, and the variety of salads is much better and more interesting than in Australia. There are also some interesting varieties of fish here, but I don’t that I will have the time to buy and cook any of it.
